just been to sign on today, and ive been told i'm on income based jsa. not impressed at all with being messed about so much !!!

i spoke to someone at dwp who seem to think i'm claiming contribution based, but she also says there seems to be something about income based as well coz ive been filling out a b7 when ive been signing on. they say its been suspended coz i didnt produce my wife's last wage slip when i signed on. i informed them that i didnt have it because i'd sent it off to the nhs to see if i could get any help with dental costs. they just said that they need the wage slip and were'nt very helpful at all!

its definitely contribution based jsa tht i have been receiving since the beginning of april. i was claiming jsa frm oct 2008 til may 2009 and never had to fill any forms out before stating what hours my wife works, just thought it was something they had brought in recently.

:(just received a letter from dwp today stating tht my claim as been suspended coz my wife may be earning too much money. she currently is contracted to 16 hours a week but has been working overtime to help ends meet. if i'm reading things correctly if my wife earns more thn £105 per week i wont be entitled to contribution based jsa. we currently have a mortgage which we are struggling to meet and other bills, iam at my wits end at the moment and wondering if anyone as any advice.
