Ok so here is a update, I have been constantly trying, begging, pleading to get BAYUV to look at my case and how much money they have and are taking of a LOW INCOME BASED FAMILY, the response is always the same Notably from Chris Webb who after many hours of discussions didn't seem to get the picture ! whilst continuously shoving the company line down my throat on how HIS agents wouldn't do this and wouldn't do that ! and that Agents are NOT pepped to not inform customers of purchase agreements or policy's not needed, ALL 6 Agents who have come to my home have ALL said that as I was a customer for more then 2 years after taking out a purchase agreement on a 47 inch Hitachi Cost £2700 including finance, over 3 years. NO MORE ! then 2 years later after requesting a new item for my eldest son, I was NOT informed the item would EXTEND my Tv Contract, then sometime longer I had another item a Laptop for my Wife, and STILL NO INFORMED it would extend my Tv contract ! I asked my Agent sometime later if the Tv was almost paid, I was then told NO it will not be paid until 2012 meaning at £200 every 8 weeks id have paid over £6000 pounds for a Tv !!! WHERE THE F$%£ is the decency in this ? there isn't any, and when I called Trading Standereds they referred it to Bridgend who then contacted BAYV to inform them of my complaints and issues, Now BAYV now sat that never happened ! They Lie, They Steal, They Cheat and they don't give a flying F%&$ about you, only money for the Shareholders who own BAYV ( notably 3 City Banks in London ! ) Dunraven Finance are one and the same company ! and operate out of the same building as BAYV all Moneys go then to BAYV Holdings who then distribute it to the City Banks notably SHAREHOLDERS ! that's why we cant get no action, response and why they don't give a flying toss about you me or them ! As of now they refuse to talk to me, they wont listen, this is making me seriously ill, I have M.E and I am under going serious therapy and treatment and yet though they have been informed they don't care and continue. Linda Davies rang me today and basically shouted me down told me I should go back to Trading Standereds as BAYV have looked into my case and as far as they are concerned its perfectly acceptable to charge me £6000 pounds for a Tv ! WTF !!! Do we live in such a world where it is ok for a major corporation to rip off extort steal lie and cheat its very customers who made it what it is today ? Why does no one look at this company and take note of their actions, how they speak how they act ? Why doesn't the common man/woman have a right to information, access to services that can stop this company ? Well you do, its called the National Press and its time we ALL called them informed them told them EVERYTHING because its only then when we do as such that suddenly someone takes notice of this company and begins to place pressure on them to correct all they do and have done ! Bright house did the same.. look what happened to them ! Ivew spoken to the People today and they are now investigating BAYV AGAIN for the third time !! The News Of The World are running a story soon on their own Investigation and I have sent them all the details of my case and the links to here and the Facebook page ! Watchdog are appealing for information as we speak and I have sent them all my Information. You have many outlets, use them an use them now ! Because this company is not going to do a single thing ! Its not in their interests to do anything ! Coincidently I have a question: If you have paid more then 3qrts of a purchase agreement on a item does that mean they are unable to take the item back ? and what can they do in regards to this item ? I presume as 3qrts has been paid it becomes the persons property and they the said company have to take a settlement for it ? be it in one lump sum or through payments ! Please to clarify,.   2. Perhaps now it would be a good idea to contact BBC4, giving them a update, as well as The News Of The World, and Channel 4 Investigations ! Who knows one of them might pick up the story.

  6. Also this morning Trading Standards have called me and are very interested in this case ! So it seems this is snowballing and becoming a serious problem for BAYV but then no less then they deserve !

  8. Hello, Thank you Lefty for your feedback and I understand about said * names *, A update for you. Today I was called by the Regional Sales Manager who thus informed me he knew nothing of my compliant to such detail as I explained on the phone and that He was not given the full facts, Yes he was aware there was a issue but he did not have the power alone to resolve this and that there is a * TEAM * who deal with such matters and that by going to Trading Standards they will work with them to resolve such issues ongoing !?!?!? Question: WHY DOES IT HAVE TO GET THAT FAR ?!?!?!? Any how I am now told that said person above will have someone call me tomorrow to discuss this matter and the Regional Sales Manager will come back to me Friday with more information. All other avenues are exhausted as now they know who I am at BAYV Offices and thus suddenly my account doesn't exist or they cant find said person I need to talk to ! So from tomorrow I will give you a update of said call, and then Friday as to the situation then. Many thanks to you for this forum and its Admins, And to those in the same predicament.. DON'T BACK DOWN DON'T GIVE IN !!! P.S: Sweets On The Move, * im also told that watchdog may be looking at this company also * I too have been informed that and in due course Watchdog will be appealing for more information and so I have prepared my case and will be forwarding it to them in due course of said appeal, I suggest ALL compliantees on here do same. Will keep you updated on such matters.

Hi first time complainer, Ok where to start, FIRSTLY this company DOES NOT tell its customers about the refinance agreements, or what is at cost, incurred, secondly FACT their interest rates have risen over the course of 4 years to 45.30% ! Though they claim * We have infact brought down our interest rates year on year * Well BAYV my Paper Work tells me otherwise. Secondly I have been with this company since 2006, I bought a Telly 48 Inches, On a special agreement, 5 years warranty and only paying a pound for 10 hours per pound ! Thats in writing on the original contract with the Sales Regional Director for the South West, a Mr XXXXXXXXX: After two years we moved house ( on a exchange ) and informed BAYV that we had moved and that the cash box needed emptying, they informed us that would be done within a weeks time, A month went by and no one came. Then one day a knock at the door, a Agent from BAYV, I assumed to empty said cash box, NO to ask me if I wanted a product from the book ! I told her I was a customer, she checked her files there was no knowledge and was I sure ?!?!?! So I showed her the cash box, to which she said someone will come in time, 3 weeks later we was broken into, we lost a laptop, mobile phone jewellery etc. as one does, the telly they tried to take but was too heavy so they cut the cable off ! and took the cash box. I rang the police instantly and SOCO came out, I was given the usual spill and a incident number, which I then used to call BAYV who informed me all would be sorted out and leave it too them, to which I did. The monday came and a guy came out to fix said tv and box and all was ok until the next day when I was visited by a regional accounts manager a Mr XXXXXXXXX: Who thus threatened me in my living room, called me every manner of name under the sun and told me I had to pay back all the monies owing plus costs, to which I then lost it and told him GET OUT or I will call the police. He then placed his finger on me and poked me called me a name so I picked up the phone, He then panicked and asked what I was doing I told him calling the police to which he then backed down on me, and then said: * I wish for you to pay a extra £5.00 a week into the box to cover this for 6 weeks, then it will be written off. I agreed to that anything really to get him out. All seemed to be ok and I never saw this guy again, until I requested to buy a new item I wanted. I was flatly told no as my account had been * refinanced * ?!?!?! I asked by who and they could not tell me. I asked around and no one could help me and was told Id have to wait for 3 more monthly payments. When I had done that I was told I could have said item, My Agent dealt with it and the product was ordered, the paper work printed off in my home signed and all sorted.. NO MENTION OF ANOTHER REFINANCE !!! Then last year My Wife wanted a laptop and so I got her one under BAYV offers, and it was dealt with by a Agent who no longer is with the company, and all the paper work was done in the home. NO MENTION OF ANOTHER REFINANCE !!! Product arrived and thus within a month Fell apart ! Headphone socket exploded ! Power Cable broke would not charge unless held in a place not wise for the cable to be held in ! So we contacted BAYV who forwarded me to their company that deals with repairs who informed me that they would need the laptop, So I sent it too them, they thus sent it back with a note saying the mother board needs replacing and BAYV wont pay the costs !!! Yet it was still under warranty with them !!!! About 3 weeks ago they turned up to empty the cash box, A XXXXXXX and a new Agent, XXXXX. I told them of my issues and Paul Clayton told me he would resolve them in due course and give him time. I informed him of my concerns of having a telly for over 4 years and that is didn't seem to be paid off and he said he would look into it. The next day he did call me to inform me the laptop would be replaced at no extra cost and that BAYV where at fault and that they had failed me within the warranty time. But the other issue would take some time to sort as our account was in a mess !!!! ON THE SAME DAY the trainee Agent who came with Mr XXXXXXX visited us to inform us he had some good news from XXXX ! I told him I had spoken to XXXX just on the phone and informed him of the outcome regarding the Laptop and Tv, to which he replied * thats good about the Laptop, but the TV is wrong, WHEN you buy a new product it is supposed to run along side the item/s already purchased, THUS not refinancing the account AGAIN ! Last week my Own Agent came too visit me, he emptied the cash box and I asked him some things regarding this whole matter, and thus informed him of the issues, to which he said * NO THAT'S NOT RIGHT !!!! * * Products purchased after said 2 year period should run along side the original product/s ! He then informed me he would place a query regarding the matter with XXXXXXX as this was wrong. I will not name the Agent as I would not wish to cost him his job, but none the less I've now been told by THREE people who work for BAYV that how they communicate to their customers, employees, is a major concern and failure ! Miscommunication, Misdirection and a unwillingness to resolve SERIOUS issues ! To this date I have paid for a 48 Inch Plasma TV £8000 pounds.. and I've now been told I will not own the said TV until 2012 !!! due to the three refinances and I am liable because I signed them !!! Since checking into the whole matter looking on the internet this company really has a bad reputation that is slowly getting worse and someone needs to pull them to book to be held account for how they treat their customers and how they infact RIP OFF people for money ! WITHOUT EXPLAINING to them how they actually operate ! Do you think IF I had known that you would refinance my account every time I had a new product or that you operate behind peoples backs that id still buy off you ?!?!?! None of us would have ! BUT you didn't give me or any other the chance to seek the right to the information you hold and as to how you conduct business ! So now After Numerous calls to BAYV today requesting to speak to certain individuals I am told they are either in a meeting, or unavailable or someone else is dealing with my issue. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. After speaking to Consumer Direct, Trading Standereds and two other organisations they have ALL informed that I have a case to claim back all my money thus paid so far and request damages from you ! As well as go to the local press and other media outlets ! And that 34 other on going cases are pending with Trading Standereds in the South West at the moment very similar to mine, and would I be interested in pooling my case with theirs to bring court action against you backed by Trading Standereds. I WONDER WHY ?!?!?!
