Thanks lookinforinfo, There were no other signs around but I will pop up there and check anyway. No mention of payment that I see just a 3 hour time limit which I was well within. I shall await there threats and ignore as advised, I shall obviously update as we go along and will no doubt be needing that rude letter to respond to there Letter Of Claim should I receive one. Feet are up ready and waiting for them.

So whats my course of action ? do nothing for now and wait to see if any further letters arrive ??

I think it must be a case of the ANPR logging my car in but not out, maybe this explains why I never recieved a Notice to Keeper ? Would it be a case of them having my car going in but not out so they dont send the notice to Keeper which usually has the in out pictures on?

I have taken pictures of the signage, we were in this car park on the date referenced on the final demand but we didn't stay more than 2 hours even though the sign say 3 hours it was bank holiday monday and very sunny and hot I remember. The site is a community centre with a car park for the open space (park) Please see Signage attached. Is there anything I can do i.e send them a template letter regarding the out of time or do I ignore ?? Will have a look for cameras when i'm up there tomorrow. Could I send an email to the DVLA regarding when they request the information for the vehicle would that help ?? Would something like this be of use ??? I will go up there in the morning and take pictures of any signage, to be honest it was the first time we had been out in 6 weeks so wasn't taking much notice was just glad to have a change of scenery. Just need a way forward once I get the signage pics if there is any, first time I have been up there by car as we usually walk but because of the lockdown I thought it would be safer to drive. Yes I drove to the park on that day, I shall have a drive up the park tomorrow and have a look in the car park for any signs and update you all once I know. Was up there a couple of hours its free parking.

There is no information on the back of the letter just what you see there just need away to get any further information so as to appeal without making things worse. FTMDave's idea might be a good way forward. Thoughts everyone ?

I'm Saying that we were in lock down and from my recollection the only place I went was the park with my wife for some exercise so a little confused to be honest. here is a copy of the letter I received as requested with details removed obviously. PCN.pdf

Hi All, Just received a final demand for payment of a PCN from CE-Service, this is my first knowledge of a supposed charge. I obviously want to challenge them all the way as at the time of the supposed charge we were all in lock down due to covid 19 (25/05/20). My question is how do I get them to resend the PCN so at least I can appeal against it ?? The final demand only has my vehicle details and date of supposed charge no information regarding location, time or photo etc. Any help would be greatly appreciated Truckert

Hi all, Thanks for your advice I am going to go it alone and with your help hopefully get some of my money back as the fact is i was told i had to have the PPI or I couldn't get the car on finance and I did call Welcome (my local branch) about a week after taking out the finance and asked them to cancel it and they told me I couldn't for 1 year so left it a year and was then told that i had been mis-informed and that it was now to late to cancel. I am sending the SAR and a cca today and will let you know how I get on. By the way I took out the original finance in April 2005 so I guess that I can still claim it back from them. I cant find the original finance documents so when i get the SAR back i shall post the details for you all to have a look at but from memory i think the PPi came to approximately £5000 - £6000 i know they wont want to cough that up. I would like some help if possible with welcome finance. Basically got a car on finance back in 2005 was sold PPI/Gap and MB insurance was told that I had to have it to get the finance. I then made a stupid move and got another car in 2008 with out PPI etc. My main question is how do i go about claiming back the PPI on the first car so it helps me pay off the second, Also if they send me the documents could one of you have a look at them for me so as to see how much they have ripped me off. I been paying them for 5 years now and still owe these sharks £9200 just want to claim back my PPI on my first car but not sure is sending the Subject access request is the right first step. If so, What is the best template letter who do I make the postal order out to ? What action do I take if they don't reply ? Would it be better to go to a private no win no fee company to claim on my behalf ? Sorry new to all this just that they been bleeding me dry for so long now I want to get something back of them the sneaky excusses for humans. I would like to cause them as much trouble as is possible so your help would be much appreciated.
