I don't think it's harassment until you specifically tell them it is. All these companies will record their phonecalls so it'll be on record that you've claimed harassment so really they would have to stop as if it got to a worst case scenario in court you would have a counter claim against them.

They do a manual check to take a pound out of your account to see if it's valid - but I always assumed it was an attempted transaction. Something's rotten if they are going around taking money.
