Hi I received two letters from Graham White, and a couple of phone calls unfortunately I have been unavailable when they called to speak to them directly. I don't know how they got my number as it is ex directory and has always been that way from day one. Just wondering about bailiffs am I right in understanding that they need to be authorised by a court (CCJ). Never had any dealings with bailiffs that's why I ask. Thanks

Hi, I got a ticket last November 2009 and after reading the forums decided to ignore it and wait for the letter. The letter arrived in January 2010 telling me that I have to pay the full price of the ticket. I replied to the letter saying that I did not know who was driving the car on the day in question and that I was under no obligation to disclose the identity of the driver. Then in April 2010 I received another letter saying that "The owner of the vehicle is liable for the penalty charge when a ticket is issued to a vehicle. The owner may or may not be the person who was actually driving at the time. If you are the registered keeper, but were not driving when the parking charge was issued, you will need to transfer the liability to the driver within 10 days of the above date. Failure to do so will result in you remaining liable for the charge." Any advice would be appreciated
