  1. Ell-enn, Understood. Yes. Thank you very much for all your help. Cheers.
  2. Ell-enn No. Yes. Any comment on post 12 would be welcome. Cheers
  3. Does anyone have any thoughts on the two posts above, please? Cheers
  4. I've had a very productive week, which makes a pleasant change. I know it would only be an informed opinion; but if I were to reduce the arrears to £650, would the lender be likely to adjourn, or whatever the correct term is, the hearing? I assume that if my initial proposal is accepted, they would still be granted a suspended possession order by the court? Any thoughts would be most welcome. Cheers.
  5. Whilst I'm here, I obviously need to get a result at court first; but would the arrears charges of £40 a month be deemed to be excessive? Is it something I should look into after the court hearing? Cheers
  6. I have now got everything together, ready to send to the court and the lender tomorrow. I still haven't had a letter/statement quantifying the arrears. I have had a letter from the lender informing me of the time of the hearing though, albeit it stated a time an hour later than that included in the notification from the court. Thank you for your help, Ell-enn.
  7. Will do. Thank you, once again, for your help. Forgive me, but I would have thought they would have had to quantify the amount of arrears. Or is that not the case?
  8. Does anyone have any thoughts on the above post, please?
  9. Thank you. The notice from the court doesn't provide any details of the arrears etc. Will details follow in due course? Also it seems odd to ask for proposals from me whilst at the same time, it would appear, given the dates of the letters, applying to the court for the hearing to be 'reinstated'? Cheers
  10. Just to add, I received a letter from TLT three days ago asking me if I have any proposals that I would like them to forward to their client (JPMorgan Chase Bank).
  11. Thank you very much for your reply. My flow of work (self employed) has been, to say the least, sporadic. I suppose the answer to that has to be 'yes' really. Will take a look at the guide. Cheers.
  12. Good afternoon. Received, this morning, a notification of a Repossession Hearing set for 10th April. Brief Details: It is a 'restored' hearing from last year. The previous hearing (March 2013) was 'adjourned' due to the arrears, at the time, being paid off in full. Current Arrears are £1220. Monthly Current Payments £266. No other person named on the mortgage. Any help would be most welcome as to what action I should take, in the event that I don't manage to get the money together prior to the date of the hearing. Cheers
  13. City, I can't get onto the travelmole site; any chance that you could copy a post relevant to my situation on here, please? I also note, on another thread, you refer to a 'complaints letter template' from the same site; again, any chance a of copy here, please? Sorry to be a pain. Many thanks for your help to date. R
  14. Thanks for the replies. The fog cleared fairly early in the day. Thomson flights were arriving during our lengthy 'visit' to the airport.
  15. Yes. Forgive my ignorance, but is it as straightforward as that?
  16. Thanks for the welcome and your reply. Yes, we were delayed by just under 24 hours. Surely any organised company would have staff on stand-by to cope with such instances? We are covered by travel insurance. I will check the ABTA website.
  17. Below is a brief summary of what occured last week. Any help and advice would be most welcome. Flight - Alicante to Birmingham (return leg of package holiday) Scheduled Dep - 0935 GMT 23/3/2010 Actual Dep - 0905 GMT 24/3/2010 Reason for delay - Actual wording from Thomson : "Due to the adverse weather conditions in Alicante the aircraft operating your flight had to divert to another airport on its outbound flight from the UK. As a result the crew exceeded their legally permitted working hours and were required to take rest on arrival in Alicante. The flight was operated the following day at the earliest oppurtunity" Course of events: Arrived at airport around 0815 CET - flight showing as on time, departure time changed 3/4 times, cancelled around 1700 CET. Taken back to Benidorm by coach, arrived around 2130 CET. Are we entitled to any compensation for loss of earnings etc?
