hi everyone thanks for taking the time to read this thread Ok well whats happened is I was absent from work for 4 days due to the bad weather when it was snowing and phoned work on all days off to let them know that i tried to get to work but it was too dangerous and I got stuck in the snow That was back in december but now I was told by my manager that the 4 days I had off will be taken off my holiday entitlement or I will not get paid HR had no policy for days off work due to bad weather and now they have one they are trying to get that back dated and I need to know if this is allowed because I find it unfair Any advice is more than welcome

im worried about parking the car in my street, scared it will get clamped or worse, shall i not buy the car. i already paid a big deposit. cant the auction ppl help??

i just read on the dvla website that cover notes have to be originals not faxed copies. the only branch is in london i live in leeds

How about if i can get a cover note??

The auction ppl will be sending off the log book to the dvla, I will be left with the new keeper supplement.

Hi everyone really need your help please, I recently purchased a car at a auction. It had no road tax. I will be collecting the car on monday. I will be phoning my insurance company and get insurance on monday. When I collect the car I will only have the MOT certificate and green slip from the log book. I will be waiting for the insurance certificate to arrive HOWEVER i need to get road tax. What do I need to do so I can get road tax?? I have to go work on tuesday so only have monday to get this all sorted. PLEASE HELP
