Hi Red146 I have just bought milk thistle in tablet form 185mg I think. Try a major chemist or a quality health store. Holland and Barrett. I'm not sure if the liquid is any better than the tablet form. May get into your system more quickly. Good luck. Let me know how you get on.

Hi. I have dreaded medical 26th Feb.. I had an alt test done privately at the cost of £100 last Sep. It came back U/L 17, the average being 20 apparently, so I was well within the normal range. However I'm a binge drinker maybe every 3 to 4 days. I get through a couple of bottles of red on average. I'm going to buy milk thistle and try and not drink at all. Not too sure if I'll pass. I could even spend another £100 doing a private gamma test. Or get one done with my GP. Any advise? Thanks
