I had to go through my medical again after only getting my licence back for 1 year after 18 month ban, this medical was in more detail checking my reflexes, steady hands, how fast responses questions was yes and no and asked exactly the time of your last drink and how much you drank now and also in the past, told them the truth was binge drinker in the past but now under control which I am, did stop drinking for 2 weeks and eating more veg and fruit. Now only drink and 2-3 times a week maybe a bottle of wine a time at the most. Was shocked got my licence back this week after 3 months to make there mind up and now got a full licence. Also this medical I didnt have to pay for DVLA paid for it. So good luck to you all.
