  1. Basically, a few years ago the bank put 20k into my account by mistake. I took it out and spent it, 6 months later they asked for it back, i told them havent got it, i was on the dole and counlt give it them back. We came to an agreeement for me to pay £7 a week, which i have never payed and they have never contacted me since, will i be able to statue barr it in a few years or not? I have a cc and really want to get rid of it thanks
  2. thats disgusting really, im grateful for the the info but the way our governemnt can do things like this to people, im not even gonna register my next car to be hinest.

  4. Last year I went away so obv i didnt see the point in putting tax onto a car that would not leave my driveway, this week ive got a letter saying i owe them £80 for the privelage, do i have to pay this? it feels very unfair to be hinest

  7. also i phoned a debt company and they said because they wrote to me in that 6 years it cant be statue barred, is this true? I never wrote or acknowleged them in anyway though.
  8. I took out a student loan in 2000, 9 years later theyve took the 1st payment off've me, as i didnt acknowledge the debt in all of that time is there anyway i can statue barr the debt or not? Any help would be much appreciated thanks

Well over a year ago, the bank paid 20k too much into my account, i didnt pay it back and now theyve sent threatening letters, i have a mediator involved who is trying to help me, just wondered what people think? should i give it back or fight it?

  11. They first called me a few months ago, asking for my details, i asked for their details and they wouldnt give it to me so i refused. SInce then they call me most days and i don't answer, i only know it is them by tracing their number on the net, the number is 0161 935 2203. Apparantly there is a lot of info on them on this forum but i cant find it, can anyone point me in the right direction or is there a way i can get them to stop ringing.
