Late in the day on Monday i recieved a phone call from my Boss to tell me he had recieved a speeding ticket for one of the company vehicles and that I was the only one in the area of the offence. Fair cop, I was alone and driving along the road at the approximate time of offence and even saw the mobile camera van (though i can't remember speeding) and so accepted the blame. My boss then returned the ticket with my details and it has now landed on my doorstep. So whats the problem you ask - it's not my licence plate or indeed the plates for any of the company vehicles only having one number in common with mine and thats the 5 that appears on half of cars registered since 2001! Just entered the reg into Directline and it shows up as the same type of van but i really don't know where i stand? Anybody able to help? Tried calling my boss but can't get hold of him! (It's the weekend!)
