Hello After my premliminary request for a refund of the £3000 odd HSBC have taken in the last six years, I had the "thanks for your letter but we don't owe you jack!!!" response which I was kind of expecting.... Although the second paragraph states that the OFT report relates to Credit Card companies only./.. Has anyone else had this??? Where do I stand??? Please help Many thanks Chris and Linda

Hello y'all, Was astounded to discover this site/forum through moneysavingexpert.com, and straight off started action against the Hong Kong Shang Hai Banking Corporation!!! Sent the Data letter and received a letter as follows..... "We will forward copies of statements covering the period.... will begin to arrive shortly.... happy to waive any fees for the production of this information.... If you require more info, please let us know"!!!!! Think I was more shocked about not being charged.... Irony huh!!!? So had my first batch of statements, and although there is only a years worth, for now, already there is £440 in charges to claim... My question is! Getting there... How do you calculate the amount you are appealing? Or do you go after the whjhole amount??? Apologies if this is a dim question, especialy if it is covered else where... Chris
