Hi there, I have a question regarding IVAs and inheritance. I've found a partial answer online already, but I wanted some clarification. I currently have an IVA with 15 months left on it, meaning the amount of my remaining monthly payments is around £6800. There is a possibility that I'll be getting an inheritance payment and I wondered how it works with the IVA. If the payment is more than that, will I just have to pay enough to clear my monthly payments thus completing the agreement, or will I be expected to pay in the inheritance and continue making the payments until such times as the original debt is cleared in full? Any advice would be gratefully received!
