I am having major probs with the Bailiffs, Bristow and Suitor. I've googled them and have heard some real horror stories! The laughable thing about my case is they are actually chasing a debt owed by a person I house shared with nearly 2 years ago! I have told them this, but they still come around, demanding her address, sending lots of letters (that I return back to sender) and on one occassion threatening to take my belongings! The last visit was tonight and the bailiff got my landlords address off me claiming they will write to him for proof I live at the address on my own, yet they have seen my sole tenancy agreement! I'm feeling threatened now yet I have contacted the council and they have promised me on 2 occassions I will not be bothered by Bristow and Suitor again and yet still they keep calling. Any ideas guys?
