  1. I am in court next week suing someone over a promissory note that is dated 2002. Originally I was told that the statute of limitation did not apply to a Promissory note and that I would win hands down. However apparently there is now a case in the Appeals Court that overturned this ruling and apparently the 6 year limitation does apply. Does anyone have any information regarding this and can they help as I am now considering withdrawing from the proceedings to avoid further costs.
  2. Dating back to 2001/02/03 a previous business partner bounced numerous cheques on me. Back in 2006 and 2007 I wrote to him about this debt but he never replied. I have all the bounced cheques, proof from the bank and my accountant that these have never been repaid. Can i now sue him on these or is there a time limit? Many thanks Suzie
