I am a student and rent in a local town nearby the uni, today we had an inspection presumably under the section in the contract to do with repairs. But we hadn't got round to cleaning the kitchen, the letting agents kicked up a fuss about the place not being tidy, do we know if theres a hoover? and mumbling under their breaths to eachother on there way out the door etc etc. they are now coming back on Friday, does this warrant a second visit under these grounds or can I deny them entry? Tried reading up on letting law and different aspects but its all jargon to me. I would be greatful if some one can explain to me the legal position I stand in as my tenancy is not protected or statutory, what does this mean and again where do I stand?
