  1. Thank you thats really helpful. I have printed off the letter and will post it first thing. Do I make the postal order of £1.00 payable to anyone or just leave it blank?
  2. Hello, I'm wondering if anyone can help me! I'm quite literally at the end of my tether with a debt recovery company called CSL....I previously was an employee of Barclays Bank and had taken a staff loan out with them...I have since been made redundant and could not afford to keep up the repayment at the amount agreed so they7 passed the debt onto CSL. I must admit i ahve burried my head in the sand for a few months, hoping things would just go away, however now I have realised I need to do something about it. I contacted CSL after receiving a letter threatening me with court action, I explained my situation and asked them to provide me with a monthly repayment figure they deemed acceptable and also for the settlement figure (should I ever be in a position to repay the full debt)...this was merely weighing up my options as to what would be best for me. I have since been bombarded with phonecalls demanding the FULL AMOUNT! They are stating I agreed to settle the account, when I actually only wanted information about different methods of repayment. I rang them today to make a small payment which I can already ill-afford being out of work and they WOULD NOT accept my payment as they state I now have to pay the full amount or face court action... I really did not agree to this and I am scared of the consequences all I want to do is pay them an amount monthly which I have offered to them until I get a new job and am in a position to pay a larger amount. What can I do?? Can they actually do this?
