  1. Hi crispdust I hadn't requested the £150, I was going to see if Barclays contacted me and then I was gonna ask if they would add it to my claim. I will be starting a new claim as soon as my cheque arrives and clears though, cos I know that i will win! Thanks everyone for your kind wishes. Cheers Alison
  2. Cheers all. Yes thats my full claim of £650 plus costs plus intrest - total of £977.08. I just can't stop smiling Sorry Martin where do I find the survey? Thanks again Ali
  3. :D Yipeeeee After a bit of ringing round to various courts, I have just recieved the best news in months - Barclays have sent a cheque for £977.08 to Bow County Court In London. I won and never had to speak to Barclays once, I never even had to sign a confidentiality agreement form. I am well chuffed. I would also like to say a big thank you to MARTIN3030 who gave me lots of help and support. I will be donating as soon as I get my cheque from the court. I love this site Cheers Alison
  4. Cheers Martin, I will call St helens Court now. I had to pay for the Bailiff as and when I applied for judgement by default and the £55 is on my statement, so I have paid as far as I am concerned! I will let you know what the court says Alison
  5. Hi and thanks very much for your posts welshman and Argyle, I have looked at Madam ra's thread and when I get the phonecall / Letter I too will chance my arm and ask for the extra £150 back. When I got home from work today I had some corrispondance from Bow County Court, but I'm not too sure what it is or what I need to do about it? The form reads: To the Claimant n244 appln rtnd no fee enclosed Then it has my name and address on the left hand side and Please reply To: then the address of the Court Manager at Bow County Court in the right hand corner. The very last line of text is: EX77-Interim Return on a Warrent of EXECUTION Has anyone had one of these or can you point me in the direction of a thread that has recieved somthing like this, or simply advise me on what, if anything I should do about it. As always any advice appreciated, I feel like I am playing the game of Sooo close but no cigar!? Cheers Alison
  6. Thanks Martin for your excellent advice, support and speedy responses. I have not as yet had any corrispondence from Barclays or the court. Should I ring the court or do I just wait for the AQ to come and fill it in with all of the info you have given me in your last post?. Also since I started my MCOL I have since incurred a further £150 worth of bank charges, do I start the proceedure again from scratch? Thanks again Alison
  7. Hi I have been on holiday for a week, so thanks to everyone for your support and comments, also apologies for not getting back to you. I rang the Bailiffs on the 28th Sept and the guy dealing with my case was on Holiday untill last monday,(I was told that a letter had gone out to Barclays, and was expecting some kind of communication from them when I returned from my holiday, but there was nothing), so I am no further on at the min. I did call them back this morning but it was after 10.30am and they were all out collecting debts - as thay do!, so I will post again in the morning after I have called the Bailiffs. Cheers Ali :?
  8. Hi Andyzappa and Idiom77 Yes Barclays acknowledge my claim but forgot to submit a defense in time, not got my money yet but I ma hoping that it will be very soon! If you go to the Bank Templates Library, then Guide Notes for Completing Moneyclaim Online and copy and paste the section beging "Your action is on the grounds" don't forget to amend some of the details to suit your claim. Good luck and keep going they owe you the full amount!
  9. Thanks Littlemichelle. Martin you could be seeing me soon in the St Helens Star and Repoter standing outside Barclays with my Cash and Johnny Wellies in the background! lol
  10. Hi just a quick update. I called my local court (St Helens) and asked for the Bailiffs office, spoke to a really helpful chap who told me that it will go to the local court of the defendant and to call Northampton to find out which court that was. Northampton told me that it has been transfered to Bow court, I have tried to call them but there was no answer so I will try later. Thanks again Martin for your advice
  11. Thanks spotty and Heidik ;-) Can anyone tell me please if i need to contact the bailiffs or do they contact me to let me know how things are panning out? and also when the warrent is transferred to a local court does that mean my local court or the court that is local to barcaly's H/O ie 1 Churchill Place? Cheers Ali
  12. Thanks notsmilingyet and nightstar. I have been onto MCOL this morning and the warrent has now been issued and referred to my local court, so I guess I just have to play the waiting game again and see what happen and how long it takes. I will keep you all posted. Cheers Ali
  13. Just a quick update. I have just called MCOL to find out if I need to do anything since I issued a warrent yesterday, they told me that the Warrent goes on request first and it takes 48 hours to be authorised - which takes us to Monday. Once authorised it is passed to a local bailiff and depending on their case load depends when they will go in and get me my £977.80 back in full! It would be brill if this is sorted before next Friday as I go on holiday to New York on the Saturday and the extra spend will ensure that I have an even better time:D I will keep you posted Ali
  14. Hi Fallen Not sure if this will help you or not, but MCOL is only updated once a day after 10 am. I too am a self obsessed MCOL checker! lol. With regards to getting fed up, I know where you are comming from, it's a big rush at the beginning and then comes the waiting game:cry: . But stick with it as it's well worth in the end - as I am hoping thats going to be very soon for me. Keep Going Cheers Ali
  15. Hi Martin thanks very much for the advice, I called the number above and they were have some technical problems so thats why it wasn't updated. Can you tell me how I go about changing my thread title please, I have looked all over but can't seem to see how to do it. Many Thanks Ali
  16. ***Bailiffs Going In**** Hi Just a quick update, I have just checked MCOL and Judgment has been issued. I have now also issued a warrent - so I think that that means that the Bailiffs are going in and Barclays will now have to pay me a further £55! . Not too sure what I should do now though - do I just sit back and wait for the money? or do I need to contact someone? Will keep you posted Ali
  17. Hi Just a quick update. I have just had a look on MCOL and the judgement is still on request, so I will have to check again tomorrow - will keep you all posted as soon as hear anything.
  18. Thanks for that Spotty. I will keep my eye on MCOL at the moment it is saying Judgements requested, but I think that they update them every day after 10am. I will keep you posted. Ali
  19. Hi Shewolf It looks like you are few days behind me. Barclays had until 17th Sept to submitt their defense which was a sunday. I called the MCOL helpdesk yesterday to see if I could file for judgment by default and they told me that I had to wait untill this morning. Still no defense so I have just filed for judgement. As to whether you should submitt another claim sorry i'm not 100% sure but I can't see why not! Good Luck Ali
  20. Hi I have just Filed for judgement by default on my claim. Barclays had until midnight last night to submitt their defense but haven't so I went for it. I would really appreciate some help from a MOD or Nightstar please :o Thanks Ali
  21. Sorry to be a pain but can anyone please help me? Hi I am a little confused:confused: , I issued my claim against Barclays on 15th August, they aknowledge the claim on 21st August, for which I got a letter from the courts to say that they have 28 days from date of issue to submit a defence. Can someone please clarify for me if that is 28 days from the 15th August or 28 days from the 21st August? I have just been reading Nightstars thread(very interseting read BTW) and they have been told by someone at Barclays that KJ is on Holiday until the 11th Sept which could end up being good news depending on which date I need to go from. I would really appreciate some clarity please:confused: Thanks Ali
