Bucnannon Clark & Wells, bombarding me with letters for an old Orange debt, now somehow they have got my mobile number!!! How dare they phone me and where did they get my mobile number!! I told them never to call me again and to correspond in writing only and terminated the call!!! So Rude. If they call again I will sent the harassment letter.
Thanks to this site and MSE I know know my rights!!

Hi all
I have been cagging here for a while and have been taken all you excellent advice and decided to take on a few of my most treatening DCA's.
One being Buchannon Clarke & Wells who collect on behalf of Orange. To cut a long story short they were harassing me by letter initally then on my mobile (Dont know how they got my number) for an old Wanadoo/Orange debt for Broadband that I had cancelled, anyway Orange said I didnt give proper notice to cancel etc (Although I did!!) and persisted in chargeing me month on month for Internet that I did not have (As BT has diconnected me) Long story. Anyway I decided to take your advice and contacted the O C by letter explaining all, and offering them a F&F settlement of disconnection fee only and asked them as a goodwill gesture to write off about 6 months monthly fees, and got nothing in response.
While I was on MSE site reading a bout others having bother with them (Orange/BUCH&CLARKE&WELL) a message came up saying to contact Jonathon from Orange Response Team and he would try to help!!!![:eek:](https://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/uploads/emoticons/eek.png.afe58c6dd9f9ff87c8e1ca0643411a9b.png)
So I emailed him and attached the letter I orginanlly sent to Orange with F&F Settllement thinking here goes nothing, I am never gonna get these MUPPETS of my back (BUC&Clarke&Well).![:x](https://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/uploads/emoticons/mad.gif.23aca57015f01d8006b419ecf997582f.gif)
Within 24hrs Johnaton from Orange Response emailed me to say as agoodwill gesture they were contacting DCA to inform them that my balance was being reduced to disconnection fee (£18.11) only!! and that they would accept this amount as F&F stettlement and close the Account!!
:) I am gobbsmacked and replyed staight back accepting their offer!! Orange Customer service are worth a try!!!;-) So I am awaiting the Muppets that are BUCHANNON CLARKE & wELLS to ring me, and with much delight I will be telling them to BOG OFF!!! I am making the F&F payment direct to Orange on Friday!!!! Thank you to all on here for your advice and Support.
