Should be fine mate, i know people who drank everyday upto week before test and passed. I still have not had a decision on my license but been driving since ban expired at start of Oct, did my medical in july !!!!

Well my surgery has recieved the form from DVLA and i want to go down and discuss it with my Dr. He is on hols for 2 weeks though......ARRRGGHHH

Hi All Just found this site/thread after googling. Anyway i am in the same position as some on here but worried. I had 18 month ban and refused breathalyser. My ban is up Oct 5th. I went for my medical on 27th July which was pathetic, lasted 10 mins taken blood/urine test and the 40 questions, oh plus BP which was 110/75. Had not drunk for 5 months upto this !!! Was told would have some results from DVLA within 2 weeks by Dr. Anyway had phone call from medical centre saying my blood had clotted and i would have to give another sample !!!So went back on the 29th July. Waited 2 weeks and nothing so rang DVLA on 14th Aug and they said they had received results that day and they had been passed onto the medical investigators/board !!! Now this got me worried.... Rang again today on the 18th August and they said it showed on their system that they had applied for information/report from my local GP... Anyone else experienced this as i am now worried what is going on.. Cheers
