I had a holding fee and an application excepted with Letting Agent #1. Suddenly out of the blue, the Landlord has signed up with a second Agent and let through them also without telling Letting Agent #1. The next thing I know is that the Landlord wants to go with the application from Letting Agent #2, even though they do not have a holding fee down. Is the Landlord allowed to advertise to a second Agent without telling the first? I feel both Letting Agent #1 and myself have been shown a very dodgy hand.
