Thank you for your advice pin1onu, I will write a letter as you advised with a photo copy of the ticket. What do you think the chance are of them letting me off? So depressing to think I may have to pay half of my earnings today on a ticket that I paid for! Maximus:confused:

Dear All, I've just arrive home after finding a parking ticket on my window! I'm totally fed up as the ticket that i purchased had blown off the dash board. Could anyone advise whether it's worth fighting it! It was issued by the East Herts Council! I've been given 14 days to pay 25 pounds or it will double in price. I wouldn't be as put out as this if we weren't having real financial troubles.. any advise would be hugely appreciated. Kind Regards Max:-(
