thanks both, i didn't send the "prove it " letter recorded does that matter. I have since received another letter offering me a payment plan, still there is no mention of the letter i sent them. Today i receive another letter about a provident card which i know i have never had. I will be sending the prove it letter again now for both debt. This time i will send them recored. I recently received a letter from Ruthbridge limited. The first letter i received was to the occupier with a number to call, which i did not after reading posts left on thuis web site. I then received another letter addressed to me threatening to make me bankrupt if i did not pay £1382.96. The cilent is barclays bank. I've never had a loan with barclays although did have a bank account with them several years ago, so i was slightly confused. I sent a letter ( i used one from this site) advising them i did not know what debt they where on about. Today i have received another letter asking me to call the contact centre the letter has no mention of my reply to their last letter. They ignored my last letter Do i now send them another letter requesting cca and send it recoreded delivery. I do own my house can they make me bankrupt. If it is my debt then i am willing to pay it there is just no way i could pay it in one go.
