  5. Hello, I would be pleased if anyone could offer any pointers on a sticky situation!. Basically due to divorce etc I have been left unable to pay a lot of debts. Most are under control but one is not. I have recently received a CCJ in respect of a solicitors bill I cannot pay in the region of £9k. CCJ is for 9k + 10k costs totalling just under £20k. I have until begining of next week to pay direct to complainant. I had an intimidating letter from a debt company today saying I have 7 days to pay them (the DC). Court order says payment by next week direct to solicitors, DC says payment in full in 7 days to them. Seems a conflict to me and totally premature given deadline hasn't passed. Importantly, the DC letter is claiming for an extra 4k in addition to the court order! What do I do? Do I write to the court? The DC? Can I get an extension from anyone? Will complain to solicitors reg. authority anyway but doesn't help the immediate position which seems to be flouting the court's order. Any help would be much appreciated!!
