  2. hi got the normal printed transactions from abbey but apart from those easy abbreviations like CHG for charges im stuck, can anyone help with these and can i claim on them. DDB VCA TCH IDB the above are the ones i picked out as they could be a charge but should i also be looking for other abbreviations. tried calling the abbey twice and was told that they have no idea what they mean.
  3. hi got an offer from netwest but this passage in the offer worrys me, am i signing away the right to claim any charges that natwest may charge in the future? Any charges that properly accrue in the future will be applied to your account in line with our published tariff and in accordance with your agreement with the bank. Should you be unwilling to accept such charges, then we may need to consider if we are prepared to continue to provide you with your existing banking facilities. Instead we may offer you a simple account that does not offer borrowing facilities or other services that can result in charges.
  4. thank you thats very helpful i sent them a list of charges with my LBA but now i have revised it the total im claiming is £280 more because of the interest. also when filling out the list of charges i used the terms that natwest used on my statements like REFERRAL CHARGE, UNARRGD BORROW FEE, SERVICE FEE, CHARGES, are all these ok to claim back? also i deducted the charges for having a advantage gold acc for the last 13 months did i do the right thing? i need the acc as i have my mortgage with natwest.
  5. just got the date i opened my account and it was 1984 god i feel old does this make a diffrence to my claim (i was a minor when i signed for all these terms and conditions):-|
