R.E my problem with Bailiffs, Success story, paid directly to council and Bailiff still turned up, did everything your site advised and also called Police when he wouldn't leave my shop. He left Hurrah for the little man, also made him aware that I knew of the prosecution of another Rossendales Bailiff in Truro, he was slightly put off. Police came after he left, but Policeman took his name etc. and said the he thought all Bailiffs were T***ers and that Councils should be more pro-active with regards to who they use for debt collection. I have received a letter from Rossendales asking for their costs, but they can go and whistle cos I am looking for any template letters with which to send them on here to tell them exactly that. Have Had 2 Visits From Rossendales At My Business Premises For Unpaid Council Tax And Business Rates, Won't Go Into Gory Details But Original Debts To Council Were £173 For Council Tax And £615 For Business Rates, With Bailiff Costs Council Tax Is Now £364 And Business Rates Are £815, He Is Coming Back Tomorrow At 11 Am Have Made Arrangement With Business Rates To Pay Off Debt In 4 Weeks Which Is Fine But Think Costs Are Ridiculous, The Council Tax Won't Budge And Just Told Bailiffs To Uplift Good From My Shop, If I Pay The Original Council Tax Debt Directly To The Council Can The Bailiff Still Uplift Items From My Shop For Their Costs, As This Will Effectively Put Me Out Of Business, And What Will Happen If I Don't Pay The Costs For The Business Rates. The Bailiff Who Attended Made A List Of Things In The Shop Which He Gave Me But I Haven't Signed Anything. Please Help Asap

Hi need help fast, have had visit from rossendales bailiffs for council tax debt that was originally £172 and business rates debt of £615 with costs the council tax is now £364 and the business rates are £815. if I pay the original debts directly to the council can rossendales still remove good from my shop for their costs. They are threatening to remove items from my shop which will effectively put me out of business, the bailiff that turned up has made a list of a number of items but I did not sign anything they are coming tomorrow at 11 a.m and they can just walk into our shop. i can pay the original bills to the council but am concerned that I am being ripped off with the costs and do not want to pay them. Please help asap. Thanks
