Having studied my statements in detail, against some of the earlier entries, I have been charged overdraft interest when I was within my authorised overdraft limit. A)Can I claim this as well as the interest and charges that I incurred when I went over my authorised limit? B)Can I use the standard letter for reclaiming credit card charges? Thanks Sophie

Hi I sent a letter to Lloyds TSB on 9th March based on a template I got from moneysavingexpert.com quoting 3 cases namely: Murray v Leisureplay (2004) Dunlop v New Garage (1915) Bridge v Campbell (1962) The letter was sent to the Collections Centre at Brighton where the debt has ended up. They responded on 22 March with copies of bank charges & the info came from the Service Recovery Centre in Birmingham. Total of charges is approx £1400. I also have a Lloyds credit card that I am being hassled for as well. My questions: 1. Are the charges in question, charges for overdraft interest/overdraft excess fees as well as unpaid items? 2. Should the interest be calculated per charge i.e. 26/09/01 £5.00, 02/01/02 £0.22 etc. and then added up? 3. Can I include my late payment charges etc. from my Lloyds credit card in this claim? I know it's been a while but I am now spurned on by everybody out there going for it! Thanks Sophie
