HELP and advice needed please. I work in Manchester and often stay there on weekends; my registered property is in Swindon. I missed a direct debit in February on my car insurance with Admiral, and as the mail went to my registered address, I didn't notice. When i did a couple of weeks ago, I called to sort it out but they have cancelled my policy and are demanding the full £500 (until November this year), BUT they will not reopen the policy! So, they want the whole years £, but will leave me with no insurance!!!! is this legal? How can I get this sorted? I appreciate the initial error was mine, but I calle dback in good faith to sort it but they wont budge. £500 is a LOT of ££££, especially fi they won't cover me! Help please.
