  1. C/M told me not to make any payments, as the accounts should be frozen, by law, whilst in dispute. It would seem we are all getting different info from the same company. I was hoping that this would all be sorted by now and that it was taking so long because of back log. However, I am still waiting for my final letter and have been for at least three weeks, although C/M told be it would only be another week before it was all complete. I have tried ringing C/M, got through yesterday and left a message for the person who had been dealing with my case, who was going to call back in 15 mins. Still waiting. Tried calling today, just get message that all operators are busy, leave a message and someone will get back within 4 hours. Still waiting. Looks like I will be getting advise from a real solicitor regarding all of this. Sick of it now. Have also written to C/M asking many questions, still waiting for reply. Surprise, Surprise.
  2. I have recently signed and sent back my final affidavits, I agree it has taken some time. However, I still have confidence that I am not being scammed and think maybe you are panicking too soon. I panicked at first, but then after reading all of the threads, realised that if everyone is ringing TL, then of course they are going to get back logged. If you want answers, then ring CM UK for them. I did and have got through to them everytime. It is them you have contracted to do the process for you, not TL. I have been satisifed that things are moving foward, all be it at a slow pace. At the beginning of this thread I said I would let you know if my debts have been cleared and still will. I have been told I will receive a final letter within a week or so. I only have letters and calls from 1 company now, some have threatened defaults, but I have just informed them that the account is in dispute and since have had no further phone calls from most of the creditors. It was CM UK that informed me that it would take 28 days, when I asked TL they said it could take longer and not rely on 28 days. I'll just have to wait and see won't I.
  3. Halifax, Barclaycard, MBNA, Mint, if you can't get hold of anyone, I suggest you contact the CMC and let them know. They will chase them for you.
  4. Hi I am also in the same process as you are. I am now in the last stages of the process with them. I also had difficulty getting hold of them, so I contacted the CMC and aired my concerns reagrding this. They contacted Tate-LLoyd for me and I have since had a response. Apparantly they have had issues with their phone lines? It can take longer than 28 days, so hang in there. I will let you know the outcome of mine, which should be in about another week or so.
