I have started a claim against Barclaycard for a refund of the late payment charges incurred over the last 6 years. I used the standard letter in this forum. I have had a reply from their DPA Officer saying that they cannot supply copies of statements going back 6 years as they are on microfiche, but ones that are less than 6 months old they can get me for a fee of £10. I already have 3 years worth of statements so I don't need to do this. They also sent a separate letter, from Customer Services, rejecting my claim. Do I now proceed directly to the small claims court? I'm not sure exactly how much I'm owed back in charges, can I just say on the claim 'less than £1000'? Its likely tobe c£250-£300 but I'm not 100% sure. Appreciate any views and advice. Thanks
