Barmy!!!!
  2. Thanks Have already drafted the CCA request I have a few ongoing, just wanted to make sure I could also send a letter to let them know that their bullying tactics are not having the effect they are supposed to. Fiona
  3. Hi everyone thanks for your replies. The DCA is Metropolitan Collection Services, not one I have come across before, anyone dealt with them? Fiona
  4. Hi guys Would just like to say what a lifeline I have found this forum with helping me deal with my debts. Basically I am just asking for a bit of advice regarding a Warrant of Execution. Received a letter today stating that my partners visa company is instructing its solicitors to start legal proceedings and apply for a warrant of execution. Now by my understanding a warrant of execution can only be applied for if a CCJ has been defaulted is this correct, as there is no CCJ on the account it has only just been passed on to a DCA. I know these companies use scare tactics and am getting quite used to dealing with them. Before I send my CCA request and a strongly worded letter objecting to their scare mongering tactics, am I correct that they cannot send the bailiffs. Thanks in advance Fiona
  5. Hi Did you get in touch with Apex when you missed the payment. I have my bank account and loan repayments thru them and if I have got into any difficulty ( I have missed a few payments) they have been really nice to me and sorted it out straight away, mind you they are the only nice ones of my creditors. Fiona
  6. Hi Ray I did put in a claim for my bank charges, but a week after I put claim in was when it was all stopped, so on hold till sorted, the worst one I have is my TSB visa, original debt £3000, been paying back for 8 years paid approximately £6500 and the balance is still £2800!!!!
  7. Hi Melanie I am new to this I have been reading posts for a few weeks to get advice etc. I too have dealings with triton (I have to say the rudest people on the planet) natwest passed my credit card over to them and they have no interest in helping me, even though I have just written a letter to Natwest complaining about them and Natwest have actually sent me a letter back saying there is no reason why triton should not accept my offer and have included a financial statement for me to send in. Have got so p****d off with them that I have not filled that in but sent a request for my CCA to them. By the way Natwest, trton and Green and Co solicitors are all the same company. I phoned triton this morning with no joy, my post arrived 10 mins after I got off the phone to them and I had a letter from Green and Co saying it was passed to them, so called them straight away and it was the same girl I spoke to at triton!!!! I know it is in house but the girl was not a receptionist she was dealing with both Triton and Green and Co. I have decided not to let them get me down I have struggled for months with debt and I figure they cant send me to prison for debt, and if they take me to court I have nothing more to offer them, so what can they really do, all my other creditors are fine, I even have a natwest loan and my bank account in arrears but that is through apex credit management and they have been really good people to deal with. My debts total about £15,000 but the sad thing is probably about £10000 is interest and charges. Fiona:)
