  1. Hi there.Nat west said this is the way they will do it.No exeptions.Been to the C.A.B this morning. They said that this is correct.Although they admitted their not experts! very helpful!!!.How is letting nat west gobble the refund all up going to help me now have been laid off work?!.Life hey
  2. Hi.Just recieved an offer from nat west re my bank charges.Claimed it under the `fsa hardship criteria`.Trouble is that the ammount they are offering (although 100% what i was claiming) `has to` go back into the account where the claim originated. This is of no help,as the account in question is closed. There is also an outstanding balance owed by me on this account too.The amount of the refund offered is less than the outstanding amount i still owe on the account. Its ironic that i succeeded in my `hardship claim`( as recently laid off work) only to find that i wont benefit from the returned funds at all!.This will leave me still unable to satisfy other creditors,as it will simply all be gobbled up by nat west!A complete waste of time money and effort. If i went bankrupt i wouldnt have to pay them a penny, and where would they return the money to then?.They flat refuse to pay the money back into any othere account than the one the claim originated from (clever move hey).Has anyone else found themselves in the same situation? has anyone else been able to get the bank to pay refund into a `non nat wets` account?
  3. I have just recieved an offer from nat west under the `fsa hardship criteria`.HOWEVER...they will only pay it back into the account where the claim originated from.As i still have arrears which are larger than the settlement offer it will simply all get gobbled up and i wont get to see any of it!.Recently was made unemployed too,so this is hardly going to help my situation.Ironic really, that i qualified under the `hardship criteria`,then i dont get to see any of the funds returned!.Has anyone else found to be in this situatuion? has anyone else been able to get the returned funds sent to a `non nat west` account?.They wont send the refund to any other account they say. What a waste of two years!!!
  4. Hi Johnny, Same bank same problem!.The claim dates are very similar to mine also.I corresponded with `cobbetts` to.They inform me that the claim that has been filed ios a `closed claim`.Any additions could not be added. Not sure i would personally spend over another £100 until i was a little more certain re my existing claim. As im sure your aware `nat west` are being particulary difficult.Guess we will both have to watch our letter boxes!.I have also filed a request under the `OFT financial hardship criteria` to speed up my claim.Their reply took three weeks, and then thay asked me to supply a financial statement, which i did.this was also three weeks ago,no reply yet!.May prove fruitful, will add a post with updates.Good luck!
