  1. The scenario is this. If you see a sign by the roadside that a farm shop is 500 mtrs down/up the farm track and you decide you want to go there - is your vehicle insured whilst on the farm track?
  2. All roads that are maintained by a local authority or roads authority are called adopted roads. For instance if a developer builds a housing estate he has to bring the roads in that estate up to a certain standard, after which the council adopts the roadways and they are no longer the responsibilty of the developer and are deemed public roads.
  3. Vehicles with valid insurance obviously have cover for roads adopted for that pupose by the authorities. What cover from insurance companies do vehicles have on unadopted private roads :?
