  1. If nothing is signed then you would just lose your deposit i guess.
  2. I actually think you are advised not to pay any creditors anyway in the weeks leading up to BR as it could show some preference. If it was me id tell them and also tell them you have been advised to withhold all payments due to this. Im sure someone will come along shortly and tell you exactly what to do and say this site is a massive mine of informitive peeps .
  3. Hi hoping someone can help me out and thanks for the great site loads of great information. I stopped claiming CTC for my 1st daughter about 3 years ago,i was claiming as a single parent whilst living with parents due to a separation/divorce. My daughter was spending all her time with me so i decided to claim this i filled in forms stating that i do not claim child benefit for her and was awarded an amount. I stopped claiming this when my daughter was spending more time with her mother and that was that. Since claiming for her i have had various letters from tax office asking me to confirm details like daughters birth cert, who pays this and that etc and i have always filled these in honestly and i have also sent in a cafcass letter i had which stated she lived with me as at that time my ex wasnt even making much contact with her. I think in hindsight we were both claiming CTC for the same period and when i speak to the TO im just told letters are just for updating there details.I have always kept a diary of everything so im not to worried about it but as i dont get any thing back from these letters and there very infrequent it seems to hang over me....does anyone have any experience of this and what was the outcome as i cant find any information online. Thanks for taking the time to read this and sorry for the long first post.
