Hello, new here, I am a little concerned about the trouble banks could make during the process of reclaiming bank charges. I am hoping to buy a small business soon, and need a bank reference for the lease. I won't be borrowing any money and don't currently owe any money anywhere, but is there any way at all I could be blacklisted? I'm not planning on making a claim to my current bank, I need the reference. Thanks

Hi Chaps, I too am trying to stop using plastic, buying local from little local shops. As a self employed person whose phone has stopped ringing I now have the time. The big plus is it is so much nicer to chat to a local Butcher than visit Sainsbozos, but then, of course removing your own appendix with a rusty spoon is more fun than that (I imagine)

Surfing the net to find out how I can rid myself of the annoying letters I keep getting about a bill that is nothing to do with me, I came across this splendid site. They haven't started calling yet, but I have had my "Final Notice". Ha Ha, bring it on, my reply will be in the post recorded delivery on Monday. Anyway, browsing here has inspired me to start the process of recovering the bank charges from the 3 banks DH and I have used in the past, SAR letters will also be in the post Monday. Thank you all for a site that is sorely needed.
