  1. Just went into Birmingham Midshires site and it says i need a independant mortage advisor to get a mortgage through them. Now when I went with the Broker almost 2 years ago they said they would contact us at the end of the 2 year deal with GE moneyy and find us an even better mortgage deal with someone else . Would i have to pay the broker a fee again then I don't want to make any more stupid mistakes in my life i don't trust anybody because i've been stung so many times with regards to finance matters ?? Morgy

  3. Hi everyone, Just thought i would let you know that i'm still waiting for news on the barrister, no news now for quite some timee but i'm sure i shall here something soon, hopefully. I would like a little help or push in the right direction with regards to another problem on the mortgage side of things. After leaving Kennsington almost 2 years ago I had my next mortgage with GE home lending (another shark i know) So fell into a little bit of difficulty this year and i have been charged about £1000.00 in charges (i pay the monthly mortgage payments 2 weeks behind every month ) so they charge me every month for the days i'm late in paying So the 2 year deal is up in Aug. (6.2%) What shall i do then, where sould i go ? Back to the broker i paid £1000.00 too to get the mortgage ?? If i stay with GE Money they are will be able to put the interest rate up to 2.6% above the bank of England base rate. I'm so fed up with everything at the moment and don't know what to do or how much extra i'll be paying for my mortgage We struggle at the momment as it is i'm worried now as Aug is nearing Any help or advise would be greatly appriciated Thanks Morgy

  14. Hi all, Ive recieved a letter from the court this morning To seek permission from his honour, it is unnecesary for you to complete an Appellant's Notice at this stage but you do need to set out the grounds on which you wish to appeal. If you file grounds the Judge will consider the application as an application made out of time. Alternativley, you can seek permission to appeal from the court above, i.e. The High Court. You will need to complete aelant's Notice to seek permission from the High Court and a copy is enclosed. You will need to file that notice here with the appropriate fee. Any thoughts anybody x

Also rang courts today and asked for advise on extending the time for the appeal, spoke to a lady who said I did not have to wait untill transcript comes through just send a simple fax as the cut off point was tommorrow I explained that we needed information form the transcript to know what grounds to appeal on,she advisedd just send over a fax stating you wish to appeal. 24. Hi Rbrears If everybody thinks I should then yes and I would like to very much, but have a few doubts about the risks involved , as I do not know the system and what i am likley to face again I certainly could not appeal without a legal representative (but obviously costs are an issue) What do you think rbrears? Do you think I should appeal regardless of the Transcript or hang on for that and then decide M
