  1. Hi I'm in SE England. After various excuses and stalling tactics from mamalooka 'we will email you a claim form' 'we will now post you a claim form' 'Now the claim for is online' and polite but increasingly firm emails from me. I emailed them all the details they said they needed to proccess a refund: my order number, amount owed, sort code, address etc (not via the online form) I also told them that they should already have all these details and was suprised they needed to be reminded of them. I didn't receive a reply but to my suprise, my money was refunded directly into my bank account a couple of days later. Not sure if this will help now, but I hope you see your money returned.
  2. I got my money back, but then I did refuse to fill in the form agreeing to be payed in installments. It was under £200 though so maybe they just wanted me off their back.
  3. Well they finally coughed up after 4 months!
  4. Thanks for your replies. No joy so far with my bank. They said 'the other bank' aren't allowing refund.I will keep hassling them but not looking good. As for that form (refund in instalments over 6 months) 'If you do not agree to these terms we cannot process your refund effectively.' NO WAY am I agreeing to that! It's looking more & more like they aren't going to 'willingly' refund my money. I think this company need investigating, not sure where to start as they are based in Ireland?

  6. Hi just googled this thread. In Nov 2008 I placed an order with mamalooka.com and also paid by BACs as they said they were giving 5% further discount for BACs payments. I Cancelled the order after various excuses were given as to why my item hadn't been dispatched. (warehouse flood etc ) I was Promised refund within 30 days. More excuses followed, then I discovered they had 'ceased trading' They don't seem to have a full address on the site either which is a worry 'Mamalooka Stores, Firhouse, Dublin, Ireland' Now they tell me refunds can ONLY be given after filling in a claims form (Which will be sent out within 30 days ) I can't find ANY info on this company.
