  1. Update on this .... Wow this is getting intense now. It was taken over by a company called C.A.R.S, The women there Sarai Rutherford is the most arogant person I've ever delt with, I requested a CCA which has now been almost 30 days since The Request. I tried to inform her after 14 days that it is unenforceable until I recieve the CCA, she said they will still be enforcing it, Eventually after telling her tons of times to "check the law" she accepted that she cannot enforce it until I recieve the CCA, which she said will be with me last monday, Still recieved nothing. However When I informed her of this she then stated that Budget had sent me the CCA, Along with my daughters Insurance Policy and my own Insurance Policy so the account is off hold and they will be enforcing it. Well for starters I've recieved nothing at all from them, my daughter was never on any insurance with me either, Surely they have to provide some proof of this? as right now they have just blatently lied about me having it. What can I do next? Thank you.
  2. Ok thanks, Forgot to blank it, but that number is no longer active anyway. Thanks again.
  3. After almost a month of battle with them I managed to get them to send me a CCA, Is this fully legal and enforceable? Thanks
  4. I see ... I wish I hadn't gone with them now, Could you guide me in the direction of How to do it myself? I have no idea at all on how I would start this, I recieved another letter from natwest today charging me £30 for being in default, They are just royally screwing me over right now.
  5. Thanks for the information, I'll keep it in mind, But anything on the problem? as Going by them they dont owe me anything at all.
  6. Yeah I forgot about the name part, but it's ok. I used one as I was told it was easier to get a company to do it.
  7. Ok so Recently I decided that I have had enough of always being charges £38 from Natwest, often making me overdrawn, So I contacted I-Smart Advantage who are one of those companies who try to get your charges back for you, However .... I received this letter today ( see below ) Is this them just trying to flog me off? Or do I have to just accept it? As I had huge problems trying to get my account closed, I cancelled all direct debits, and asked for the closure of the account, they never ... and since I asked and returned all my cards and paying in books they just keep charging me after I asked for the account to be closed. Any help would be great, thank you. [EDIT] Reuploaded with name removed
  8. I wrote a letter to natwest with a request to close both my natwest accounts, this was on the 26th, Jan, 09. However they have not closed the accounts, and to make matters worse I have recieved 4 unpaid direct debit charges for direct debits they claimed they cancelled. I emailed them about it and they said "we'll get back to you", which has been garbage as I have received nothing. Anything I can do?
  9. if you need any other info I'll try and remember it lol
  10. ashmk you are a genuis, they gave him no cooling off period whatsoever, this will help him a lot, thank you.

  12. I did both, they gave me £100 for the trade in, and i had to pay £200 cash, which on their credit agreement is on page two on the right hand side as "downpayment provided by customer £300" I do indeed have a default notice, defaulted in 2005
  13. thanks, there is also a guy on there that asked me for help, He got charged £230 pounds for two years worth of hosting, but cancelled his webspace after just one day, does he still have to pay all that? He told them he will inform his bank to return the cash, and they threatened him with legal action as stated below. When you made your initial payment, you were informed by Paypal and by UnlimitedMB, that the charge was a recurring charge, and would continue until it was canceled. This is what will happen if you issue a chargeback with the bank: You will need to report the transaction as fraudulent to the bank. The bank will pull the funds that were sent to Paypal. Paypal will receive the chargeback, close your Paypal account, and investigate. If, during the investigation, they find out that the account holder reported a fraudulent charge that he/she was responsible for making, they will file a dispute with the bank, and contact a collection agency. If you refuse to pay the collection agency, you will be in legal trouble. There is no getting out of it, payments are non-refundable as clearly stated in the Terms of Service you agreed to during the creation of your account. any help for this guy?
  14. Thats great news, i have no idea how to word the letter, is there a template at all for this occasion?
  15. I hope this is the correct section, there is no money involved with this issue but it's a matter of principle, hopefully someone can guide me. I opened up a website this year, I opened it, set up the forum etc .. and suddenly it was gone the next day, Everything deleted. I asked them about it and they placed all the blame on me, saying I must have told someone the login details, I was hacked etc ... I've asked them for the activity logs but they have always ignored it. here is the thread I asked them about it in My site has been deleted - Page 2 - UnlimitedMB.com Forums ( hope this is ok to show ) any help would be nice
  16. On the 10th of November 2008 Budget Cancelled my Insurance for non payment, However the non payment was due to not enough funds in my account for the direct debit to go through, I wrote them a letter asking them to take the payment out of my other bank account, They wrote back confirming the details, however they then tried to take it out of the original account AGAIN knowing the funds were not there, I called them up asking them what details they have?, the confirmed the new details, however they said i now owe £123.59 plus an amendment fee of £25 for the change of details, My policy was due to end on the 17th of December 2008 anyway so why a bill for that big? Any advice, help, instructions will be hugely appreeciated
  17. Hi, Thanks for your reply, I like the sounds of the good news lol. I do have my original agreement still, Also when they took my car I was told whatever the sell on price was of the car would come off the debt, However I heard nothing about that either. The DCA Involved are Hillesden Securities Limited
  18. About 2 and a half years ago I had my car repossesed, they took it court first and got the ok to do so, I had paid over half of the value of the car, I had interest of £3000 added to the total, however when they took the car they still wanted the value of the remainder. I contacted them about arranging a payment, but I have not heard a word from them in 2 and a half years, I was wondering how long it is before they can no longer chase me for this debt? thanks
