Hi , I would appreciate if anyone can help. I am writing this for a friend of mine. He has UK debt of around 27K all splitted up in different (4) lenders. He is NOT a UK national and now his Visa expired. Now he moved to Netherlands later planning a move to Indonesia after 6-7 years since he is an Indonesian citizen. He has not paid anything after that. Also he had a house in UK which he left the key to HSBC to deal with it; They have not agreed, but he left everything to them. He was not trying simply to cheat them but got into dire situation due to some stupid University administration and two accidents. Will any of them be able to force him do anything in Netherlands? He is not planning to return to UK. Anything he needs to do in particular? NO CCJs probably yet; Does he need to inform creditors and court that he left UK for good to Indonesia? Thus avoiding any CCJ to be filed? Beatle.
