  1. one more problem to add to the list, we gave our landlord 100 yesterday to hopefully keep him off our backs and went in for a crisis loan and we were rejected because "we had a choice of living expenses that day" and they told us to ring income support and ask for an imediate payment and they shot us down too, so now were a couple with a baby and no money to feed him, keep him warm or all the rest aswell as our selves and to them, thats not the slightest bit of a crisis
  2. first they wanted us to pay it with back dated income support even though were not sure if we get it or not then they said once you get on child tax credits. use there back payments to pay up and if i get dla. use that and i cant very well do any of those things cause they dont amount up in the slightest to what i owe, were getting ill with all this faffing around and we think at this rate our child will be going down the same path and housing benefit are just taking too long with income support to get things sorted out. il definately get a homeless housing application. saddest thing is even my partners mother dosent want to take her in cause she was against the idea of her having a child =/ apparently i should be entitled to incapacity though... not income support n a lil incapacity or however they've worked it out to screw me out of what im entitled to. what i feel bad about most is that my partners maternity pay is supposed to be for her and the baby... not me included, i dont understand why if one of you works. it dosent make you any better off anymore. gordon brown says "lots of people are off the dohl" its more like they cant claim it anymore lol
  3. im not sure, i think he can evict me within 14 days... all i know is were not sleeping well and housing benefit want us to use our back dated payments from other benefits we need to live on when they come through to pay them but i personally think we shouldnt have to and if he wants to throw us out let him cause i dont trust him in the slightest after this...
  4. rang em yesterday soon as i got it. all i got was "oh well. what ashame" and as for my councellor he cant help me till tuesday which unfortunately is after the 8th =/ so were screwed to say the least
  5. they wouldnt give me an appointment. i could only speak to them over the phone and whats that?
  6. they said i had to wait and there was nothing i could do. im gonna go see a solicitor tomorrow i think. usually when they get a letter of them they get off there asses asap.
  7. yeah it sure is... whenever they decide to let us have it. landlords been saying if i dont get money by the 8th he cant keep us here =/ just wondering if theres any legal action i can take against the housing benefit? cause to be honest its really messing up our health
  8. i can seriously do that cause ive been nearly 6 weeks without money and its killing me and my partner at the moment cause were having to spent as much as we got to get our baby boy the things he needs and until our housing and council tax benefits are done and dusted then they can look at child tax credits and did i mention. he was born last week?
  9. they wont give me a crisis loan cause at the moment im not recieving money of income support or any kind of benefit and since there taking forever to make a decision on that. the housing benefit is taking much longer and there deciding to ask me for even MORE stuff that ive already sent in so if you ask me there upto something sneaky...
  10. thankyou, yeah i think i do get a bit of income support with it... im not sure, they always got me confuzzeled on that bit, my landlords backed off a bit now while all this is being sorted but we are finding it hard to live off what we have right now, our gas runs out very quickly and so does our food, were barely gonna get through this as it is, we have nothing for our baby and she has started to get signs of labour already with pink streaks after shes been to the toilet if you could possibly help me in any way it would be greatly appreciated, thankyou for your time
  11. me either, its been so stressfull cause so many other people in different circumstances get stuff like that, my aunty just told me tell em that shes moved out if it'' get em to give us a easier time lol
  12. no i was on benefits last year and my girlfriend was on lower pay than she is on her maternity pay now :S but the crisis team i saw yesterday said there gonna try and sort it all out and for me not to stress, i just wish it didnt have to resort to yesterdays happenings to get the help...
