Is was for a mobile phone (vodophone) contract they first said the debt was £538 but is now £438

From appollo I think I must have signed as a guarantor for an old ex. Capquest are now chasing me for the debt and although I have given them the exes name address and phone number they are refusing to chase him for the debt. I have written and asked for a copy of the agreement but they returned my £1.00 and said I had to email for details of the debt and that they would put the acount on hold for 14 days I have received nothing and they are now threatening me with bailiffs - Help

Although I have supplied my exes new address and phone number they continue to harass me for money I have sent £1 for a acredit agreement and they sent it back and asked me to email for proof that it is my debt. The are threatening the baliffs what do I do???? Worried sick

My brother and I have a joint account at Lloyds TSB, the account and all details are registered at my address. My brother took out a Lloyds TSB credit card from his own address. He was 7 days late paying his credit card and decided to just pay the late fee of £12. Before he had a chance to do this the bank snatched £88 from our joint account to make the payment effectively making me liable for my brothers debt. The bank will not speak to me or acknowledge my existence because my name comes 2nd on the account. They are also saying that they can take money owing from any account with my brothers name on it. Is this legal help and advice please
