I went into my local Brighthouse store to have a look round and to ask exactly how i could go about purchasing a fridge freezer i had seen in the window ....I asked them how they could provide credit without the standard credit checks that other companies use ....the answer was " It was based on trust"...I told them i had my own household insurance , but i was told that many policies dont cover HP goods....Where they got this information from im not entirely sure! When I asked what would happen if i got into financial difficulty and missed my payments...the reply to this was......." We have our own instore baliff " , then the sales person went on to say that he was 7ft tall and didnt speak to women "..What that was supposed to mean i havent a clue ...I walked out in total disbelief....
