Very true. After the 'legal documents are being prepared' letter then theres the 'final, final, final' letter which gives you the chance to settle at a lesser sum before action! Thats the 'were getting desperate now and really want your money' letter!!! They usually disappear then
I've an interesting new twist, the latest effort from Credit Security Ltd gives me the option to pay my balance weekly.
Good try chaps, but I'm still not paying

If the last letter you had was a Notice of Visit from Rossendales you've got at least another couple of letters to come. I had mine mid January and since then have had two letters from Credit Security Limited.
The first one DEMANDED IMMDIATE payment followed two weeks later by "legal documents are being prepared"

Sorry, not sure what happened there!!!
1 UKPC Charge certificate £40
2 UKPC Final Demand £80
3 Rossendale Collect £125
4 Rossendale Collect £125 but lots of red
5 Rossendale Collect Final Demand
6 Rossendale Collect NOTICE OF VISIT in big red letters
7 Rossendale collec YOU WILL BE VISTED BY A DEBT COLLECTOR in even bigger letters.
Don't play their game by contacting them, just sit back and ignore them;)
The last one is now over a month old and I'm still waiting

Just ignore it and save yourself time, effort & money.
For the newbees out there the letters will go something like this;

Hi there,
I have been reading this topic as I have been fined by UKPC for parking in a disabled bay over christmas at Tesco's. The bays weren't painted right and was thinking of making an appeal, but I have took the advice on here and said nothing.
I could not make an appeal now as Tesco have repainted the bays the right colour!
I have now recieved my second letter from UKPC. I havn't opened it yet, as I was wondering whether to right "Not known at address" on the letter and stick it back in the post?
Or am I best to keep ignoring and not even read the letters
I suggest you just read the letters but do nothing, don't lie to them, in fact don't contact them at all.
Just sit back and let them waste their time and money.
They can only win the game if you agree to play it.

Mr Eee
You can expect a couple more.
We are on our third letter from Rossendales, but at least they say this is their FINAL DEMAND so this should be the end of it.

Hi Guys
I'm new to the site and just want to thanks to all of you.
My 17 year old daughter is being chased by UKPC and we need all the moral support we can get, it would be much easier to deal with if the they were after me.
We've had a couple of charge notices from UKPC and now the first threatening letter from Rossendales has arrived, I just hope I'm doing the right thing by ignoring them.

I've had a visit this evening, very nice chap but not too bright.
I told him I had no intention of paying which he wrote down on his little pad after he had asked how to spell intention.
