From what I can understand the debt is unenforceable and cannot be collected in Australia.

I believe that a partial settlement means just that... they may sell the debt on. So in theory they will not chase you for the remainder but someone else most certainly will... probably Aegis. Any repayment offer that you make should be in full and final settlement.

Hi there, hoping you can help - excellent forum by the way. I have just noticed that my Abbey credit card which has not expired has been replaced by an MBNA card.. The balance has been moved onto this MBNA card from Abbey and the account number is different... just wondered why Just also wanted to know if when requesting a CCA if I should request an SAR at the same time or wait for the CCA first. Many thanks

Hi there, first time poster to this forum.. Is it better to request the CCA and SAR together or request the later once the CCA has been received?
