  1. Hi, I hope someone can help and that I've posted this in the correct place. my last credit card payment was due to be taken on the 13th of November, I made sure sufficient funds were in the account to cover this but upon returning from a trip away, i have noticed that they have attempted to take this money on the 10th. As this debit has bounced back, I expect I will have to pay a bank charge along with charges from Capital One and have a default on my credit record, which I am trying to build up. I attempted to email them with this query but my account now has restrictions placed upon it, the only restrictions apparently being to prevent me from contacting them. I have also called customer services but was told that they are within their rights to attempt a debit at anytime, and that this is in no way affected by my credit agreement. Is there anything I can do, as I feel as though I have been cheated here as I always make sure I make my payments on time. thanks in advance.
