  1. I have to my disgust received letters after letters off Lloyd TSB informing me that I am now incurring charges of a one off £15 for default of my overdraft and a further £10.00 every day for a maximum of 10 days per month, to say I am fed up is an insult. I have instructed a Debt Adviser at the CAB and they are dealing with the financial side of matters but the problem is how do I try and pay off my debts if the bank keeps on putting these charges on? I just don't know where to turn now because I will never ever pay these charges off if they keep on placing them on my account. Any advice would be welcome as I am new to all of this.
  2. Hi dx100uk , we are new to this and have been mis-sold PPI because when we took out our credit cards the insurance was just added to our account without us knowing and no we have not cca'ed all the jokers as like I have said we are new and perhaps a bit green to this so forgive us if we sound a bit daft. We need a bit of guidance I think perhaps yes one of those truecalls would be a brilliant idea.
  3. I have a Debt Management Plan in place arrange through the Debt Advisor of the CAB. However, the various creditors just won't listen to us when we tell them we have this plan coming their way and who it will be coming from. Barclays for one ring us umpteen times a day as does Lloyds TSB and they are driving us crazy. We do intend to pay what has been agreed with our Debt Advisor who has compiled the plan for us but all we get is threatening action against us! where do we go from here can anyone help us as we only have so much we can pay to our creditors and no more. Marks and Spencer are not much better and have also threatened us. We know we have to pay and are not in dispute for paying what we owe it is just they will not listen to our Debt Management Advisor!!
  4. We purchased a three piece suite off Harveys and had it delivered March 2007. The suite was originally a beautiful cream fabric suite with recliners on every seat and cost us £1,900 with Multimaster Insurance for damage, rips etc. We also had the suite wet treated for spills etc for which we paid an extra £185.00. Now here we come to the bad bit, the suite has changed to a dirty looking suite with patches everywhere. We rang up Multimaster and asked them to come out and basicaly see if there is anything they could do under the terms of or warranty. They refused because the suite had been wet treated by Harveys!! and not damagedby say a bottle of wine or cat pee!we have a battle with Harveys going on because we have refused to take this lying down and have told Harveys to sort it out otherwise they will be took to court for good that were sold and not being fit for purpose i.e their treatent must have gone wrong in the first place. Today we had a company come round to assess our suite sent by Harveys who told this company that we had a leather suite!! oh the incompetence of Harveys. We have had some photos took yet again and we shall expect to hear from Harveys (or so we have been told) in 7-10 days about our suite). We only want our suite back to how it was when we bought it orwe want a new three piece suite. Our suite is incidentally on HP with Black Horse who don't want to kinow either as they only lent us the money. I would like to hear on this forum of others who have had such habby treatment off Harveys and Multimaster and yes I would contact Watchdog and the papers if necessary as I am spitting feathers at the moment.
