Hello. Well, I've joined this site because I worked out today that since August, we have accrued bank charges of 1085 pounds, with an average Direct Debit "turn-away" of 31 pound. So that's 31 charges of 35 pound. Now, I understand we are at fault but I find, as probably most of you do, that this is rather excessive, especially as some of the charges have been for amounts as little as 2.06 and because our account has has only been in the red because of charges upon charges. I look forward to reading information on here about recouping some (or, maybe, all) of these costs and meeting people on the way. Thanks for reading.
