  1. PGH7447 many thanks. I did see other posts about BCW & what lies they try to string people. I will contact EON & see what they say. Cheers
  2. Hi there Don't know if anybody can me some advise on the below. I recently received a Formal Demand letter from a company called Buchanan Clark & Wells, believe they are a debt collector company. The formal demand was to recover an overdue debt (£139) as instructed by E-ON (formerly Powergen)for a previous address I owned for the period 02/11/2001-19/5/2005. Now I lived in this address with my Ex before we moved to a new address. Upon moving we ensured that the utilities companies were all notified & any debt was cleared on this address. I find it hard to believe that now 3 1/2 years on I have received a letter of this nature demanding the debt to be paid? The quote the EON reference account number but do not actually say what period/ month/ bill this amount is for. Unfortunatley I do not have any of the old bills or access to the bank account to show payment. How do I stand with this? What are my next steps? If anybody could help it would be much appreciated!! Thanks
