Hi all just to keep you upto scratch. I attended the employment tribunal last week with my mother in law and the judge awarded her £20789.67p in compansation and has issued an order to Fitray. No one from Fitray attended.

Well over a month gone and still no contact from Harveys or anybody i rang the alternative number for some lady to take my details saying she would get a manager to ring me back........do you think it happened?..............................................................................................................................................................of course not Trading standards me do thinks.

I bought a leather 2 seat recliner and also a 3 seat recliner before xmas had it delivered christmas week and rang there customer services the next day to ask for a replacement as the 2 seater looked like a factory second. There were faint tram line marks on it. The footplates over lapped at the bottom and the left back cushion is a good inch to an inch and a half higher than the right cushion. Anyway Eco Master were sent out and and 2 men turned up early january looked at it took photo,s and said the marks were packaging marks and will go over time. I explained i was not happy with that and they said they would submit there report to Harveys who will be in touch. After 3 weeks i again rang Harveys who explained the report said they had FIXED the problem and nothing else needed doing, i went berzerk at the poor woman on the phone and told her that Eco Master had done nothing. The Woman put the phone down on me so i rang back and told them how pathetic they are and they arranged for Eco master to come out again today between 1-4. Anyway at 5-30 the bloke turns up agrees with everything i,ve said and tells me that he can repair it by unpicking it and re upholstering it,it would take 2-3 hours to do and he really wanted to get home I explained that i would rather have it replaced as even though he can fix the footplate and the 1 inch step he wouldn't be able to get rid of the tram lines so he said that he would explain this in his report. I dont hold my breath and will be ready to get in touch with Trading Standards. Upto yet im also paying £51 in call costs to there 0844 number so if anyone has an alternative number please forward it. (there is one out there i had it but cant find it now).

Hi all, have met with Welfare rights today who has said they will represent me at a tribunal but are first going to write a short letter to the DWP before it goes to tribunal. The grounds they are going with are mental health grounds andalthough my daughter has not been test for any mental health issues it does best explain the way she is. They have taken all my supporting documentation that Dwp have never even asked for and are going to start reading it all straight away. thanks for advising me to seek there help.

Hi i have recieved a letter today asking for the name and address of my daughters new school and for me to give them permission to contact school. So they must have acknowleged my request.

Hi all Firstly thanks to all for the interest in this problem, ok i have not sent in a GL24 only a written letter (sent recorded delivery) explaing that i wanted to goto an independent tribunal as i felt they have taken no notice of anything i have told/sent them. The refusal letters reasons are : Information from my claim pack. And a report rom my General Practioner. She has seen her GP i would say once in 5 years. And that was only to speak about the options we have got for when she begins her menstral cycle. Never really seen her GP about her dissability as thats just it, its a dissability not a sickness and she isnt poorly with it. Ironically i have been sent a new claim pack today too.

Employment judge xxxxx xxxxx has therefore decided that it cannot be accepted. The claim will now proceed undeended. You are not entitled to take any part in the proceedings except. ..To make applications for review of a deault judgment or certain other decisions in the case. ..To be called as a witness by anouther person. .. To be sent a copy of any judgment or order made against you. ..To ask or written reasons for a judgment or order. The accompanying notes explain what steps can be taken as a result of this rejection. your faithfully. xxxxxxxxxxx or the security of Employment Tribunals. the letter is adressed to the person im claiming against. Any advise to this would be great thanks

Hi Simon All input is greatly recieved, at present i am waiting to see the welfare rights people and see how they can help me. It is a very frustrating process and i somtimes think that sooner or later i will end up with mental health problems caused by banging my head against so many brick walls lol, I really do appriciate all input good or bad after all it can only help me more..so thanks to everyone.

Hi Bookworm Just thought i,d let you know that i have sent a letter of appeal and found today that Welfare Rights come to the community centre next door but 1 to me every thursday between 10-1pm so i will be visiting them next week.. i will keep you posted.
