  1. Im a lift engineer and if this is the case this must have been specified by the building owner during the installation. 99% of lifts will not have this facility
  2. i phoned sky to tell them i was moving home and i was wanting to cancel my subscription, they told me it was £60 to get sky installed in my new house, when i told them i wasnt interested they gave me free install (£60) and gave me a free sky+ box (£75) as far as i hear if you phone up and try to cancel due to the "credit crunch" they give you a reduced subscription fee for 3 months with the same package !!!! only if you arent still in your 12 month min subscription
  3. i was wondering if anyone one could help, My wife works for a credit card company who were bought over in about april (i think) since then the new company has decided that the staff and building were not required as they already have the staff in place elsewhere. The company then sold the building to another company who have agreed to keep on all the staff. so my wife was then given a finishing date of 31st october and 3 months gardening leave because the new company are not taking over until 5th january which is her start date. Now to my point !!! she has since found out that she is pregnant and when she starts her new job she wont be there long enough to be entitled maternity pay from the new employer, she is still employed with her old employer working for 2 more weeks then 3 months paid gardening leave so are the due to pay any maternity pay ??? or have we just fell unlucky ?
